I JUST GOT MY SON A DIAMOND EDGE BOW 40LB.
I CAN'T FIND A ARROW THAT I CAN PAPER TUNE IT WITH.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE ON WHAT KIND OF ARROW I CAN GET HIM.
HE'S USING CARBON FURY 150, 24IN.
THANK YOU ALL.

What kind of tear are you getting through the paper? Depending on the type of tear determines what the problem might be and what type of correction(s) need to be made. You say you have the bow set at40#, what is the max poundage of the bow? What's the weight of the tip on the arrow? From what distance are you shooting through the paper? What type of restt is on the bow? Don't just assume that you need a different arrow. There's more to it then just that. Maybe getting fletching contact, maybe torquing the bow. There's other variables involved. How bad it the tear? Paper tuning is way over rated and a lot of guys seem to think that if they can't paper tune then something must be wrong.I'm guessing that with a 24" arrow he has a short DL. A CF 150 at 24" at 40# should be spined ok with a 100 gr or lighter tip. Have you tried a heavier spined arrow? It's usually better to be a bit over-spined then a bit under-spined.

Neil, it could be a timing issue. Have you checked the bow on a draw board and made sure that everything is within specs? You're getting a "high/left" tear and it's a right handed bow? How about the nock height....90* or 1/8" above 90*? Just how bad is the tear? Less then an inch? You're not getting any nock pinch? It's kinda tough to list all the variables by just guessing without having the bow in hand to go through it and make sure that everything is set up like it should be.
