The season is almost here. I'm getting very excited. I'm sure many of you will be out scouting your hunting areas, checking trail cams and working on stands. This is the time when you should have your Stedi-Stock and cam ready! Getting some footage of this is great b-roll to your filmed hunt and makes for a more interesting story. Good luck all and most important have the time of your life out there!

I have one and use it a lot for close range. $50 is not a bad price compared to bad audio!!! Don't use rechargeble bat. buy them in bulk! I have also found clipping the mic. on a hat or tree branch works well to stop the scratching on the mic. Play around and be careful of spiked audio when a gun goes off. Hope this helps.

Got back from Alaska on the Paralyzed Veterans of America Hunt with Doug Warren ( DOUG here on the MOZ) was a great time and very successful for the Vets! The Stedistock worked great to get some great bear footage when the lighting allowed it. However even the Stedi-Stock could not overcome the darkness so I did not get as much footage as I would have liked but it was wonderful to be part of this great outing for the Wounded and Disabled Vets!

That's it Harold I need to get a Stedi-Stock! Way to many times has my hand fell asleep while caught up in the middle of a hunt. Not fun.
