I talked to an old Man who remembers when he was a boy growing up in Vienna they had to turn in their guns and all the law-abiding Austrians complied and within the next few weeks the Nazi's marched and their tanks rolled down the streets and not a shot was fired.

Well, we recently had "Tea Parties", all over the country. I couldn't recognize anyone at the rally I attended. I thought, well maybe someone might recognize me. No, but it didn't matter. I didn't have to be recognized or recognize anyone "American" out the. Yeah Yeah Yeah. A lot of us stayed home, one excuse or another, but don't fret if you were not there. Those of us that were there, were there because we felt we represented not only ourselves, but all of America that would have liked to be there. Yes, YOU were represented too. Those a******* figure probably 10 % of those that would have liked to be there,couldn't, but the missing 90% swell the numbers of votes that could shift the balance from FASCISM, back to FREEDOM, no matter how many "change"s take place and how many fall, the next representation of what should be going on in Politics. My Guess is it will double, but we still need more,as that scare, was ignored. Let's not give them horse blinders the next time. Of course The penny ante dictator will run and hide somewhere for more "photo ops". He still thinks he's running around the streets of Chicago "organizing", For the uniformed, that's waving your joint to the crowds standing on the street corners, draggin weed and snorting a line or two.Yeah, we'll have more reasons by the next rally. By then, America will have been fully awakened to the Fascist movement being undertaken! Let's hope we won't be too late and have to FIGHT for our rights, Freedom, Liberty and backbone for what we believe in.Connect the dots! Check out whats already known. Stock mkts, Financial Inst's, reduced military budgets, focus on us veterans, church followers(religeon), as potential TERRORISTS. Meanwhile, a real Terrorist,is no longer recognized nor their dirty deeds. It's called Poitical Correctness! Well mabe we should picket the media for posting all of those anti gun. I think that there is far less gun violence going on that is not being posted. What if the media said " Thier could have been a lot more people shot if that peason didnt have his weapons permit and was not able to gun him down." The people turn on the tv and we watch gun violence. Sence its on the tube and not real its ok with us. But some strung out indevidual gets a gun and tries to remake the movie. The old westerns were ok they didnt have the blood shed or the actors didnt realy get so good at dieing. Now the movies have gotten more blood and make it look so real. We show these videos to our kids and so on. Did they ever think that if there was less violence on tv that less people would get hurt? The gun dosnt kill it sits until its picked up. Chief Joseph said" Its easy to pick up the rifle but its hard to lay it down." He ment that when you decide to kill and you do there isnt much else you can do when you are finished. Violence has been on the increase due to the movies the gangs that are bored and so on. We pushed our children away because we are busy with work. Things have got more expensive so the stay at home mom is the thing of the past. We need to get back to actual values that has made this nation great. If we are to ban anything I would start with violence on tv.

Well said Wendell, Our founding fathers did not write a perfect document but one that has stood for over 200 yrs and it has worked pretty good. The people of this country need to get back to taking an interest in our politics and becoming educated on the candidates in lieu of being mesmerized by someone who promises anything to get elected who can never deliver on the promises. I think there is only one issue in the last century that people actually agreed upon. Due to statistics, over 90% of the people interviewed agreed that in 1969 the US put a man on the moon. I don't think that 90% of the people in this country have ever agreed on anything else as too many people want too much for no effort, to be given to them as our politicians and liberals have programed the people to believe that it is an entitlement. Sometime some day people are gonna realize that the freedoms we have enjoyed due to the blood that was shed by our servicemen, kept those freedoms, now it seems we are willing to just sit back and let them slip away.

Reading what you guys wright is so clear. I read a lot of history My father and his brother and many of my family served this nation. I look back at all the treaties that were given to the Indian and how he tried (many of the chiefs did) to follow the rules and give up a part of thier land to us. When our Presidents kept pushing the Indian got tired and fought. We the People of the United States are now like that Indian. The diffrence with us is we allow Presidents to lie and we vote them in. We allow the President to run from the draft and we make them Chief. We allow the young to lead the old. But most of all we allow them to vote us out of our rights. We are to give up our Religeon for it affends them. We are to learn thier language. We are to pay for them with free taxes. We house them feed them and our children starve. We the people stand by while they raise fuel to unbelivabe rates. We let them. Our gaverment is to be directed by us not the other way around. We vote whats law they dont. Its our constitution and its our job to make sure that they follow the rules. It says We the people of the United States Of America. Not I the President. Its time We Stand up and tell him who is boss. He works for us. We are a great Nation on who is Under God. This Dictator Ship he promises is Destruction. The last real Dictator I Remeber is Hitler we dont need another World war 2. Lets tell him either leave our constitution as written or get out.

Hello maxfeather. It may or may not be my place to welcome you to "Gun Laws", but anyone who shares our concern about this subject, is okay by me. So I say welcome and good luck, for if we keep our "Trust in God" we'll be kay. When wedon"t, we get a congress like the whatevers, we have now. Imagine some idiot,not saying a terroist is not politically correct? Where do they find these jerks? Terrorism by any other other name, is still terrorismand the scum that perpetrates such acts are TERRORISTS! We need to keep a watchful eye on Law Makers? Is that what they are, or should we have a politically correct name for them. Maybe, Cowchips? Can't be Bull Chips, because there a few real men in Washingtub (White-Washingtub) No member of any level of politics should ever be allowed in office, without having served our country, even if only as mess cooks. Or should that be Mess-kooks, to be politically correct?

Now I ask you ladies and gentlenen, are not these words engrained in your very souls from your parents and lineage? Where do you stand, when it comes to the preservation of our Liberty, our Freedom. Were the forefathers of this once great nation any more worthy in their defense of Liberty, than we? If those words sound familiar or don't, let me refresh your memories. Those were the words of Thomas Jefferson. Even if you disagree with Tom, and won't stand and fight to preserve you rights and freedom, ponder the question of your outdoor pursuits, your shooting endeavors, your very prescious right to own a firearm? The dogs of the left, far left are listening, making plans. Oh the bill signed into law the other day, contains a French Socialist quote. "Nuff said for now! But I still can't believe we have but 27 sign up under "Gun Laws"! Woe is me. Well that never kept me out of a fight for something I believed in.
