I am looking for a cameraman, for a couple projects, that is coming up in April and May. The first , is filming a turkey hunt in southern Indiana, the dates are April 27,28,29. The food and lodging will be taken care of and you will be paid $100 a day, if you have your own camera that would be a plus, but I could provide it if need be. After you and my hunter gets their gobbler or their 3 days is up, then I will start my hunt , same deal as before. We did this last year , with great results, my hunter killed the first afternoon, hunter #2 killed his on the 2nd early morning, then I shot mine later that same day. So we had 3 gobblers on video in a day and half, and we were done.  The second trip is filming my southern Michigan turkey hunt, on May 2,3 and maybe the 4th, we will use all my camera gear on this hunt, and again food and lodging I will take care of and pay $100 a day for you filming . Ideally would like to find someone who, maybe lives close to the hunts. And I would also use you again, on some more up coming hunts in the furture, for my hunts for shows. Hope to hear back , from the filmers here. Thanks

I'm in Oklahoma hunting and living now or I'd help you out.  I'll see if any of my buddies are interested that live in MI.

Todd,

I live in Southern Michigan and would love to help you out, but I will be out of town on the week of May 2nd and 3rd.  If you don't have anyone else, I would be willing to go to Southern Indiana and film for the three days.  I own a Canon XHA1S and have been filming my own hunts for the last two years.  If you would like to see some of my video check them out on www.plumcrazyoutdoors.com .  You can contact me at plumcrazy247@sbcglobal.net

Jim, ok that would be great, you could just come to my house, and ride down with me for the Indiana trip. If i changed my MI hunting dates a few days, would you be avaible then ? Thanks alot, Todd
I've got you in my calandar and I'm looking forward to filming the hunt.  The week of May 2nd is completly out I'm in Chicago the first half of the week and in Mexico the second half of the week.  I will be flying home late Sunday the 8th.  If you have any hunting dates after that let me know and I will check my calendar.

James, that would be great, the only concern I have is when to you have to be home for your trip is it May 1 or 2nd ? Cause like I said in my posting, after our 2 hunters kill their gobblers, then my hunt starts for maybe 3 days. If our 2 hunters would kill real early in their hunt, that would sure help us out on days, then I would start my hunt alot earlier. Last year we killed 3 birds in a day and half on video, but whos to say that will happen again. I guess the worst thing that would happen, after the first 3 days hunts are over, I would have to stay there and film my own hunts and you could ride back to my house with the other hunters to get your veichle, Since there will be 4 hunters there from here hunting those first 3 days, so they will have aleast 2 to 3 trucks coming back anyway, and they live real close to me anyway. Just let me know what the very lastest you have to be home , is, then I will get it all figured out for us.  Thanks so much for you interest in this hunt !  Todd

Up date , I have had to move the Michigan May dates, because if we are in Indiana for all of the first 6 days of season, will not be able to make it Michigan in time to start on May 2, I have already talked to the Michigan outfitter, and everything is fine, we can come anytime we need to , to do the hunt. My tag is good from May 2 to 31 if need to be. So if the first dates of this hunt was an issue for you to video, now I am sure we can get it all work out, for both of us.

Todd,

I'm sure we can hunt/film through the weekend, I just need to be in Chicago, Monday morning, May 2nd. If we have to take the extra time to get the hunt on film, I can always drive to Chicago from your place instead of heading home first.  Right now I am good for any time in May except that first week but my schedule fills up quick so we will need to pin down some dates soon.  My 13 year old Son and I also have turkey perimts for the month of May for lower Michigan.  Is there any chance of taking some extra birds on film with your outfitter?

I have filled these openings for these upcoming hunts. I sure am thankful of all who responed to my posting !  There will be more chances coming this year. Todd
