The little bucks are starting to get active. Several reports of young bucks running does. In a couple weeks the big boys should start to get active. Looks like it's going to be a great holloween.

Which phase? That is important. According to Mr. Alsheimer's writings, the best time to be in the woods is when the seeking phase begins to transition into the chasing phase. Look in deer and deer hunting magazine for the rut predictions. Follow the bell curve for the predictions of when the phases are to take place. Use data collected while hunting to determine if the predictions are accurate. The bigger sampling of data the more accurate the sample. That is why we all should use this forum to share data. i can tell you this i sat in a seminar with charlie alsheimer and the rut will hit NOV2 this year so thats when you need to be in the woods so let us know what activity y

Lets make it a point to track the rut activity. If everyone logs their observations we will have a good sampling of the rut activity. This will help all of us to know when and where to hunt.

Cory a great way to get a good deal on some 3D targets is contact some dealers in MI. that have 3D ranges set up. These targets at Dealers get pounded on all season and are replaced all the time. Contact them and ask if they have any deals on some used 3D targets...and if not leave your name and number with them to contact you when they are looking to get rid of old targets.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get cheap 3d archery targets. They can be new or used.
