Finally got my first buck of the season. it was 4pt or 2by2.....weighed in at 137lbs

This coming weekend going to Covington La to hunt my grandpa's property and hoping to get one this weekend. My grandpa has been seeing some deer in the middle of the day out in his fields by the born.

Hey everyone I went to MS this past weekend on Saturday Jan 9 ,10 at 0730 i had a good buck come out but tried to pull the hammer back on my 30-30 but my gloves would not allow me to get the hammer pulled back and the hammer slipped but did not fire but the buck heard me.
On Sunday Jan 10 shot a doe but was in a rush and pulled the shot. That sucks

hey chris, how are things going? sorry been super busy with mounting and work. whats goin on this weekend? If i get a deer done this week i will be able to make a hunt if your up for it. All depends on if i get these two deer mounted. call me tomorrow

Went to Marpa Managment area and hunted and had no luck. Found a good area that had some Rubs and big tracks going through

The first weekend of December i will hunt Marpe managment area. I hopt to get one this weekend.
