mackey said… - yeah man, i went and seen his deer yesterday. that sho-nuff is a good one. we took it to jason cross. he had a rack=o-meter. it said he scored 142 gross. whatever he scores, i will kill them all day long like that. yeah it sucks to be restricted to this state the rest of the year. but go down and look at some of the deer that jason has hangin up at his shop that has come from north alabama. there are some dang nice one. but they are so few and far between. there is a monster down there that come out of bankhead. ask bart about it.

- blair, dont mistake luck for pure skill. i think maybe bart has been around me just enough for some of my hunting skills to rub off on him, obviously. hey if your nice to me i might let you hang out with me some so maybe something like this can happen for you this year. i have not seen the deer in person yet but i just looked at the pics on barts page and he looks dang good. the deer that is, not bart.

My mechanic, Allen Moody, said to run all the fuel out of the carb by cranking it dry and running it for 20 seconds at a time with the gas off. When it starts to sputter, pull the choke to make sure all of the gas is burned out of the carb. Do not get the engine hot or you will need a ring job. Pour some enviro-safe antifreeze in the hull if you have any water standing.

- Sounds like a great time. We'll have to talk about that for sure. Thats got to be about half way between us isn't it? That trip would take me about 9 hrs.
