Just waiting another week or so for things to heat up around here. But it hasn't been too bad so far. I've only been out 4 times for about a total of 8 hours of stand time and got a 6 pt opening day and passed on 5 more (a scraggly buck and a few doe). I've had deer withing shooting distance of my stands (from directly underneath me to 30 yds out) ever time I've been out so far, but I'm either getting lazy or be patient. Probably more lazy......lol. Lots of time left though. I'll keep you posted.

Can't tell but it looks like the antler on the deers left side is short a point. Go sit in that tree that your cam is on and see if you can get a better view of him. Either way, 7, 8, 9, or 10 pointer, he is a shooter. Looks nice and healthy, a mightly tasty too.

Been splittin' wood all day then took my dogs to the vet for their usual booster stuff. The beagle ate a bird and got worms! $512.00 later.......oh well, easy come, easy go.....
