well thats awesome im out of columbus so not 2 far away.

today the 11th it slammed every single time i turned my primos can over i would hear a buck crashin through the corn and sprint right to me and they were fightin and just runnin wild i passed 4 130 class deer and 1 nice half rack just because i didnt have a camera man and thats my main goal right now and there was a monster standin in the woods and chased a smaller buck away so we should hopefully get a kill tomoro im hoping. but hows your season been.

Thanks man- He came right in to my decoy and I shot him at 8 yards. That's a good buck you shot. Keep after it. I'm sure that big one on your camera is around. Did you see Count's monster yet? He is relieved after his earlier mishaps.

nothin yet but its been hard to find a good camera man so havnt really been out as much. but i just found this spot on a creekbed were i killed a 145 inch 9 point last year and in 7 days i got 303 pics of bucks there is 3 deer way bigger than this buck that both have drop tines and 1 of them is over 180 inches non typical i will get that pic on by next week so check it out.

I am in Wapakoneta its west central ohio. Public land in ohio can be very good. If you are headed to southern ohio the biggest thing is find a good trail neer water. Right now the state is in a slight droiught around any water source with a food source near by is a great spot right now. Feel free to look me up when you are coming. I dont know of any land in Shepherd for lease. Most if not all of the land around there is private and has hunters already on it. If you go North of Clare its easier to find some land to lease.
