- I am a 29 year old sweet potato farmer. I live in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. I have a wife and two little boys, one is 3 and one is 1 year old. Both of them are already doing the same thing I did growing up behind my Daddy, HUNTING! My three year old Drake, shot my .22 for the first time at a can two weeks ago. Missed, but hey, pretty good for a 3 year old. My Dad and I run Top Gun Guide Service in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. We specialize in waterfowl as you see in my profile picture. We have been in farming and guiding business for nearly 35 years. After duck and goose season is over, we go all over the country hunting turkey and fishing with mostly our clients, but we go on a few other trips as well. We love it! I dont think anyone in the world likes "hunting" and the "outdoors" any more than we do.. I just hope I can raise my little ones just like I was raised and them love it as much as my Dad taught me to.

Currently stationed in Virginia and hunting here is good but nothing like I seen on your tv episode. Thanks a million James Dougharty.
