Hey Larry,

Well our turkey scouting/hunting trip today wasn't that bad after all. We got there early and didn't hear any gobbling or turkeys roosting so we gave it some time and just drove around. We got out at a pond and started calling just to see what would happen, sure enough nothing did. Although we didn't get any turkeys this hunt, we still have next weekend which will be more of a in depth hunt seeing hown today was more of scouting. It wasn't all that bad though because we came across a herd of about 20 elk or so, so in my opinion it was really fun, and plus I got to show my brother some of the things we do when we go hunting! That's what it is all about right? Haha :)

Larry, just check in with ya, I got my suit , and everything fits great ! Are you and your brother still interested in coming to Indiana a deer hunting this fall ? I have made the Mathews Dominant Bucks TV show pro-staff for this year, just got the news on tuesday ! If I dont get the chance to come there to hunt, and if you guys could come sometime in Oct, I would let you and your brother hunt for 5 days, for $500 a person thats half offf the regualr price, and if I do get to come there and hunt with you , I will give you your $500 back , to ya, for the trade hunt like we talked about . It's okay that we didn't draw, just means we'll probably doing some small bird hunting haha definately spring turkey, probably fall turkey and maybe a little pheasant hunting as well. As long as we can go out there right? Haha, well Sunday were going scouting for actual spring turkey season, but it also happens to be a youth hunt. So we will be doing some scouting and hunting possibly. I see it as just going out and scouting and if we see something possibly shoot it but if not we still got the actual season. I'll remember the tips, I've done a lot of research and found a website that is the National Wild Turkey Foundation. The site has sounds of turkeys so I was able to listen, and perfect mine with theres so I am really confident this year.:)

Long time since we have talked. Sorry about that been kind of caught up in school and what not. This weekend I am actually going scouting but it is a youth hunt for turkey so I am gonna be scouting along with hunting. And if I see something but can't shoot it then I can always wait til the weekend after that. Looks like this year i'll only be going turkey hunting cause we didn't know when the dead line was to put in and draw for big game and we missed it by a day so were outta luck this time I guess haha but it's okay.
